Bio: Vincent Bacote desires to help Christians build bridges between faith and life. He is Professor of Theology and the Director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. He is author of books including Reckoning with Race and Performing the Good News: In Search of a Better of a Evangelical Theology (2020) and The Political Disciple: A Theology of Public Life and he has contributed to books including Cultural Engagement: A Crash Course in Contemporary Issues (2019), The Church’s Social Responsibility (2015), and Black Scholars in White Space (2015). He lives in the Chicago area with his family. 

Bio: Carlton started ministry in 1981 as a pastoral intern at First Evangelical Free Church in Wichita, Kansas, and has spent 40 years in church leadership. He began his role at the EFCA national office leading the ReachNational division in September 2021 and was named acting president of the EFCA in April 2024. He and his wife, Carol, are members at New Hope Church in New Hope, Minnesota.

Bio: Before he retired in 2022, Bill Kynes served as the senior pastor of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Annandale, VA, outside Washington, D.C, for thirty-six years. Bill attended the University of Florida, where he played quarterback on the football team; Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar (M.A.); Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.Div.); and Cambridge University (Ph.D.). He serves as a Council Member and Director of Regional Chapters for The Gospel Coalition and as a Senior Fellow with the C. S. Lewis Institute. He has also served on a number of boards of the Evangelical Free Church of America and other Christian organizations, including Trinity International University, where he currently serves as a special assistant to the president. He and his wife Susan are now members of Christ Church East in Jacksonville, FL, and have four married sons and sixteen grandchildren. 

Bio: Quintin Stieff is the Lead Pastor of Valley Church in West Des Moines, Iowa. He has been joyfully married to the awesome Ruth Stieff for 42 years. Together, they have three children and three grandchildren. Quintin is a conference and retreat speaker both in the U.S. and internationally, sharing insights on leadership, strategic vision, church-community engagement, evangelism, and outreach. This year, Valley Church proudly celebrates its 35th anniversary.




Bio: Adam serves as a International Leader for EFCA ReachGlobal. He holds an MDIV from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and spent 15 years as an EFCA pastor in California.
